September 21, 2007.
It is already a month ago that I entered our blog with some of our happenings. We seem always too busy to find time but I will try again.
Last week we went to Southern Ontario. Our first stop was Caledonia; south of Hamilton. There we stopped at John and Corrie De Groot. I believe the year was 1951. I had gone to Church in Hamilton where we lived at that time . On entering the bus going home, a young couple also entered the same bus, and noticing they were speaking Dutch I began a conversation with them and invited them home for coffee. Since then we became good friends. Their house is located on land that is claimed by the Indians.
Provincial Park. That Later in the late afternoon we continued our trip to Jarvis and visited David and Stephanie and we had a lovely dinner with them. The next day we continued our trip and went to Thamesville We had a good time there. They grow lots of red, yellow, and orange peppers in their greenhouses. The following day we visited Diny and Trudy who were camping in the Pinery. That evening we went all for dinner in Grand Bend. Next day we went back home; stopped by Uncle Sjabbe. All in all we had a good trip.
